Jinkee Pacquiao says ‘do not judge’ after controversial bike post
Sen. Manny Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee warned about making judgments after being criticized for sharing a photo of their luxury bicycles.
On Friday, Jinkee shared on Instagram stories a photo of a quote from the Bible which read: “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.”
The text is from Chapter 7 of the Gospel of Matthew.
The senator’s wife shared the quote following Agot Isidro’s tweet that called her out for posting a photo of their Hermes and Louis Vuitton bikes.
“Alam namin na marami kayong pera. At kung ano ang gusto ninyong gawin sa pera na 'yun, wala kaming pakialam,” said the actress in her tweet.
“Pero marami rin ang walang trabaho at nagkukumahog humanap ng pera para may pakain sa kanilang pamilya. Puede ba, konting sensitivity man lang?”
Agot ended her tweet with a hashtag: “#Nouveau.”
The Pacquiao camp had responded to Agot’s tweets, stressing that what the family did with their hard-earned money was nobody’s business.
A statement posted by the Pacquiaos’ business manager Arnold Vegafria said “Jinkee has also worked her way up as a smart and prudent businesswoman with several investments under her good name.”
