Matteo triggers netizens with unboxing video, admits he's not good at it
Matteo Guidicelli struck a nerve among netizens with his unboxing video of his PlayStation4.
The video, which was uploaded on his YouTube account on June 2, suddenly gained traction two weeks later, when netizens couldn't believe the way he (1) trashed the box and (2) carelessly handled the expensive toy.
Apart from the tweets — which according to Philippine Twitter is clocking somewhere over 13K as of writing — netizens made their disapproval known by clicking on the dislike button on the video. As of writing, there are 34K dislikes versus 4.1K likes.
To be fair, the actor admitted he's not good at unboxing. After ripping the sleeves open, Matteo read the label that said, "Please keep the sleeve for extended warranty service."
"I just broke it sorry," Matteo said, when he realized what he had done.
"Yup I'm not good at unboxing. This is my first time, maybe later I can learn," he said, adding the last PlayStation he had was PS1.
Nevertheless Matteo continued to trend on Twitter Monday afternoon. Below are some hilarious tweets:
Been watching unboxing videos way back since Youtube made it a thing. Never seen anybody trashed it the way Matteo did. Literally and figuratively. pic.twitter.com/6MmzM2PDhX
