From her earnings selling vegetables, lola buys a cellphone for apo's online classes

These photos uploaded by John Mico Tan on social media quickly went viral for all the heartbreaking reasons.

According to Mico, he was waiting for his order at a mall in Muntinlupa when the joy of the child got his attention. His lola had just bought him a cellphone for his online classes.

Upon visiting Nanay Emma Abucay Monta this morning, Mico learned that she made somewhere around P20 to P50 a day selling vegetables. She saved all her earnings just so she could afford the mobile phone she bought her apo.
