Kapuso celebs join TikTok's Wipe it Down Challenge
There are so many things, too many things, going on in Tiktok. The latest being the Wipe It Down challenge.
Essentially, it involves a TikToker transforming into something glamorous by simply wiping down a mirror.
It's something like those old wedding home videos, where the bride holds up her wedding dress and then turns around only for viewers to see her already wearing it.
Citing internet database Know Your Meme, Time Magazine was able to trace it back to April — uh, feels so long ago, doesn't it? — to TikToker @rominagafur. When comedian Lauren Compton took part in it using her own "Wipe It Down" song, things really took off.
Locally, we have Kapuso celebrities owning the Wipe it Down challenge. There's beauty queen Michelle Dee, who did it so fabulously that Miss World Philippines had to share it on their Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Kris Bernal has her first looking very conservative — in turtle neck no less — only to transform into her bikini babe — and then back again. On her Instagram post, Kris even showed a BTS.
Finally, there's Klea Pineda, whose pop culture reference is only making her even more endearing than she already is.
