Atom Araullo tops Twitter as netizens praise his COVID-19 documentary, 'Nang Tumigil Ang Mundo'

Atom Araullo has been the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter Sunday afternoon as netizens praised his documentary, "Nang Tumigil Ang Mundo." 

The Atom Araullo Specials episode has been in the works for three months, beginning in March when the community quarantine started.

In the episode, Atom  gave an overview of how the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected Filipinos, most especially the poorest of the poor and frontliners.

After the documentary finished airing, Atom thanked everybody who watched and called on everybody to take care as he remained the top trending topic on Philippine Twitter.

Some netizens described Atom's documentary as an "eye opener" on what's really happening in the country amid the COVID-19 pandemic, while others said it gave them "chills," "goosebumps," and "realizations." — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
