Before the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) hit the country, the family survived every day with the income of their father, a jeepney driver.

But they suddenly found themselves homeless after losing their livelihood due to the suspension of public transportation.

Another family of a PUV driver also lost their home and resorted to living in the cramped space of their tricycle.

Drivers of public utility vehicles have been seeking financial assistance from the government and the public to help them feed their families.

Some netizens put up a Facebook group called "SuperTsuper" to facilitate donations for PUV drivers. —MGP, GMA News
