Beyonce, Ariana Grande give flawless rendition of classic Disney hits

Beyonce and Ariana Grande breathed new life into two beloved Disney classic songs for The Disney Family Singalong.

As tribute for healthcare workers battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Beyonce gave a hair-raising rendition of "When You Wish Upon A Star" from Pinocchio.

"Please hold on to your families tight, please be safe. Don't give up hope, we're gonna get through this," the American singer said in an Instagram video.

Ariana meanwhile pulled out all the stops for her take on "I Won't Say I'm In Love" from Hercules.

In her Twitter account, the American popstar wrote, "Thank u for having me @disney @abcnetwork #DisneyFamilySingalong."

The Disney Family Singalong also saw the virtual reunion of the original cast of High School Musical, who all sang "We're All In This Together."

The global tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached more than two million. The death toll continues to rise with more than 141,000, with the US recording the highest number of deaths among affected countries.
