Roosters seized in illegal cockfighting in Valenzuela turned into tinola
Roosters that were confiscated during an illegal cockfighting in Valenzuela City had been cooked into tinola by the city's kitchen.
On his Twitter, Mayor Rex Gatchalian shared that they conducted a raid over the weekend and the violators had been sent to the police station.

The chickens, meanwhile, were sent to their central kitchen.

"So sa mga gusto gumaya [sige] subukan niyo," he added.
In another tweet, he revealed the chickens were used to cook tinola.

The raid was conducted amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, imposed to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Last Saturday, Valenzuela City began mass testing for COVID-19. As of April 10, the city has reported 40 confirmed cases.
