Healthcare workers in QC hospital dance to 'Fight Song' to boost morale of frontliners

Hospital staff in East Avenue Medical Center danced to "Fight Song" to boost the morale of their fellow frontliners battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

As seen on Sandra Delmendo's viral post on Facebook, a group of medical technologists wearing face masks grooved to the popular hype song.

Sandra said the group decided to do the video to lift the spirits of healthcare workers facing discrimination from people afraid of catching the virus.

They also asked the public to help them get hold of more personal protective equipment.

According to Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, 21 doctors have died on duty due to COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the Philippines has recorded 4,195 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 221 deaths and 140 recoveries as of Friday. --Kaela Malig/MGP, GMA News
