‘Mobile palengke’ brings fresh meat, produce to Batangas residents in quarantine
Residents in Dumantay, Batangas City were able to stock up on food during enhanced community quarantine, thanks to a “mobile palengke” that stopped by on Thursday.
According to YouScooper Jervis Buela, the “Magkatuwang Tayo” mobile palengke was selling fresh fruits, fish, pork, poultry, and veggies from inside a jeepney.
Buela took note that the vendors were all wearing facemasks, and that residents were instructed to bring their own reusable shopping bags.
