Ben&Ben serenades netizens amid enhanced community quarantine

Ben&Ben served up the perfect chill vibes on a Friday night as they serenaded netizens amid the enhanced community quarantine.

The OPM band went live on Facebook for "Puhon," a fundraising showcase to contribute to the efforts to fight the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Ben&Ben played some of their songs including "Maybe the Night," "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay," and "Pagtingin."

The band's nine members played from the comfort of their own homes to practice social distancing.

The event's proceeds will go to the UP Manila National Institutes of Health, One Nation Against COVID-19 Project, PantawidCovid Project, CDO COVID Donation Drive, and Impact.

They will used to purchase personal protective equipment and nutrition support for frontliners, COVID-19 testing kits, and relief goods for daily wage workers.

Other similar initiatives include "Bayanihan, Musikahan" started by composer Ryan Cayabyab, the GMA Artists online show, and the Smart Music Live Online Sessions. --MGP, GMA News
