McDonald's Brazil tweaks logo to practice 'social distancing'
McDonald's Brazil hilariously tweaked the fastfood chain's logo to practice "social distancing" amid the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Its Facebook page on Friday changed its profile picture to a logo with the two peaks of the "M" separated from each other.
The page also updated its cover video showing the logo splitting into two and then joining back together.
The accompanying text in Portuguese reads: "Separated for a moment... to always be together."
In the Philippines, McDonald's has adjusted its operations in Luzon, which is under enhanced community quarantine.
