Family holds funny DIY graduation ceremony for their youngest
Classes have been suspended and graduation rites have been postponed after the entire Luzon was put under enhanced community quarantine to combat the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
However, no disease can stop this family from giving their youngest one of the most memorable moving-up ceremonies ever!
In a viral video on Facebook, Azrael Tuazon can be seen attending a hilarious DIY graduation ceremony held in his family's compound in Apalit, Pampanga.
According to Jean Tuazon, Azrael's aunt, the 4-year old was excited about his graduation as he was about to move up from day care and into kindergarten.
When the ceremony was cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19, his family decided to give him one right at their home.
While his grandfather waited on stage to give out his award, his aunt emceed the event and his uncles held a table cloth in the air to give the stage a background.
Azrael not only went up on stage to receive his diploma, but he also received four awards: Best in Recess, Best in Kaya Mo na 'Yan, Best in Ikaw na Gumawa, and Best in Pahingi ng Star!
The Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine will be implemented until April 13.
The Philippines, under a state of calamity since Monday, has 217 confirmed cases and 17 deaths due to COVID-19, according to the Department of Health.
