Gwyneth Paltrow's mask to combat COVID-19 during Paris flight got us shaking
Gwyneth Paltrow was sure to take measures in combating the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) when she boarded a plane to Paris.
The "Iron Man" actress posted a selfie of her wearing a black mask on Instagram.
What caught people's notice, however, is that her mask was from Airnium, a Swedish-based company that claimed to create "the most advanced air masks in the world."
And according to the brand's website, one mask costs $69 (approximately P 3500)! It is an urban air mask that featured a sleek Scandinavian design and five layers of filtration.
It's reusable and washable, and based on reviews, it's apparently totally worth it.
Gwyneth captioned, "Paranoid? Prudent? Panicked? Placid? Pandemic? Propaganda? Paltrow’s just going to go ahead and sleep with this thing on the plane."
She also made a reference to her 2011 film "Contagion", when she wrote, "I've already been in this movie."
In her post, the 47-year-old actress detailed several other measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"Stay safe. Don’t shake hands. Wash hands frequently."
As of Saturday, more than 100,000 people around the world were infected with COVID-19.
