BTS dominates Twitter after 'MAP OF THE SOUL: 7' release
As BTS released its fourth studio album, "Map of the Soul:7", the South Korean boyband lorded it over Twitter, generating a whopping 17 million tweets in just 48 hours.
According to Twitter Korea, the volume of tweets peaked right when the album was released on Friday, February 21 between 6pm - 7pm (KST).
Trending hashtags included #MAP OF_THE_SOUL_7, #BTSComeback2020 and #ON.
According to analytics, the top tweet from BTS' official account was a post with the caption 'D-Day', announcing the band's comeback.

The post, featuring a series of photos, has received 1.3 likes and has been retweeted more than 400K times.
On Sunday, BTS's 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film trended on YouTube Philippines.
BTS is composed of seven members, namely: V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM and J-Hope.
