Kelly Clarkson impressed with viral Pinoy singer
After Sam Smith was blown away by the talent of a Filipino singer whose video went viral on the Internet, it's American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson time to be impressed.
Retweeting Smith's post, Clarkson couldn't help but voice out her excitement. "This video has been going around my team as well! This kid is insane!!" She exclaimed on Twitter Saturday.

The viral video uploaded by Trixie Madison on Facebook featured a male student singing Smith's song "Too Good at Goodbyes" at a grocery store in Bacolod City. The video has already garnered more than 9 million views as of posting.
Madison identified the singer as Steven Clarcson, also known as Carl Malone Montecido on YouTube, where he does song covers on his channel. He now has more than 5,000 subscribers. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/LA, GMA News
