Sam Smith blown away by viral Pinoy singer

British singer Sam Smith was amazed at the talent of a Filipino singer whose video went viral on the Internet.

Smith retweeted the viral video of a male student singing the popular singer's "Too Good at Goodbyes" at a grocery store in Bacolod City earlier this month.

The said video has earned more than 8 million views to date.

Uploader Trixie Madison tagged a netizen named Steven Clarcson whom she identified as the singer in the viral video.

Steven Clarcson is apparently Carl Malone Montecido who uploads covers on his YouTube channel. —KG, GMA News
