11-year-old from Iloilo wears makeshift ‘Nikes,’ wins 3 golds at school meet

An eleven-year-old elementary school student in Balasan, Iloilo, won three gold medals while wearing makeshift footwear with the Nike swoosh drawn on them, as seen in her trainer's Facebook post.

According to Predirick B. Valenzuela's post, Rhea Ballos of Salvacion Elementary School bagged the top awards in the 400-meter dash, the 800-meter run and the 1500-meter run for elementary girls at the Iloilo Schools Sports Council Meet.
