This 'Encantadia' spoof is currently trending on YouTube

Hats off to “Encantadia.” The GMA fantaserye last hit TV in 2006, with a reboot hitting the small screen 11 years later in 2015, but to this day, the effects of the franchise is still felt.

Enter “Encantasya,” an “Encantadia” spoof that is currently trending on YouTube, sitting pretty on the 21st spot.

Essentially, it’s a homemade video featuring kids playing in what is presumed to be their backyard.

They might only be using bamboo sticks and mini spider tripods as props, and they might only be draped in swaths of cloth that look like curtains, but what they lack in production values, they make up for with interesting post-production effects. Check out those orbs emanating from their punches and their kicks! And the sound effects, mm.
