In France, April Fools Day has something to do with sticking paper fish on people’s backs

We all know April 1, April Fools Day, is a day to make jokes and have fun. Though its origins are still something of a mystery, April Fools is celebrated all over the world.

On Facebook, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia shared April Fools is actually a tradition practiced in France since 1564.

It’s called “poisson d’avril” and the custom has kids playing a practicaly joke on adults by…sticking paper fish on their backs. Lol.

Consider this a reminder for you to check your backs and to not take this Monday too seriously. Happy April Fools, everybody! — LA, GMA News
