Floating fiber from Kapok Tree in UPLB makes for a serene 4pm scene
How beautiful.
Floating white fiber from a large Kapok Tree in the Los Baños campus of the University of the Philippines seems to slow down time.
Coupled with the golden late afternoon light, and everything looks soft, serene, and beautiful.
Netizen Jerard Eusebio pulled over to capture the serene 4 p.m. scene he found on campus Tuesday, which he then shared on Facebook. As of writing, his 20-second video has generated more than 7,000 shares.
Jerard, who is a professor in UPLB, tells GMA’s YouScoop that the beautiful scene took place near Palma Bridge and the Physical Sciences Building.
He adds, seeing Kapok fiber float down and around signals two things (1) graduation or Sablay season and (2) the approaching summer season.
For us? It signals the need to slow down and zen it out. — LA, GMA News
