#KMJSGabiNgLagimVI trends on worldwide Twitter, Maine Mendoza joins the fun
For its 6th edition of Gabi ng Lagim, "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" went the whole nine yards and presented four horrific stories instead of the usual three, enlisted award-winning directors, and had paranormal expert Ed Caluag perform a séance.
So it’s not a surprise that on Sunday evening, it hit the top five on the worldwide Twitter trends, peaking at number 3 despite global news like the elections in Brazil.
On Philippine Twitter, it easily hit number 1 a few seconds after it started to air.
"Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho: Gabi ng Lagim" shared stories about the Manila City Hall, a tiyanak in Pampanga, and one on Jay Costura, known as the Nostradamus of the Philippines.
Netizens took to Twitter to exclaim their fear, surprise, and of course, demonstrate their unrivaled wit. Even Maine Mendoza joined the fun!
