GMA resident meteorologist Nathaniel ‘Mang Tani’ Cruz went viral over the weekend after he stifled his laughter, after correcting himself, after mistakenly calling Balitanghali anchor Jun Veneracion, ‘Josie.’

On Monday morning, Kapuso anchor Arnold Clavio took Mang Tani with him to Instagram where Mang Tani explained the “Yes Josie” incident.

They began with good-natured laughter — “at least natuloy na ang tawa mo,” Arnold pointed out — before Mang Tani admitted he felt a little nervous. “Baka iba na naman ang matawag ko [sa kanya],” Mang Tani laughed.
He then explained that his default setting is always on the weather and typhoons. “Ang concentration ko laging na sa bagyo, kaya talagang, laging nasa isip ko, bagyo, kahit anong pangalan,” Mang Tani said.
