'Concerned' netizens had a hilarious reaction to Tita Mel 'stranded' in 24 Oras 'floods'
"24 Oras" pulled all the stops for its broadcast Tuesday, and did one of their famous state-of-the-art simulations of the day’s big story.
For Tuesday, it was rain and flooding, and so the "24 Oras" studio was depicted as flooded with murky waters creeping into where anchor Mel Tiangco was standing.
It worried fun-loving netizens enough that on social media, they posted screengrabs of Tita Mel and issued their mock-concern.
"Bakit hindi pa magsuspend sa GMA! Stranded na si Tita Mel oh! Lol,” wrote John Clifford Sibayan on Facebook.
A search for “Tita Mel” on Twitter gave us more funny tweets, all made in good fun, about Tita Mel's "distressing situation."
