On Twitter, a Pinoy Starbucks barista reveals off-the-menu drinks and customizations that customers can order
Brad Vargas is a Starbucks barista in the Philippines — Dapitan branch — who recently went viral after generously sharing on Twitter off-the-menu drinks and latte customizations people can order.
He said customers have been asking him for drink suggestions that they have never tried or heard of before so he and his friend Shicone decided to create the thread.
"As baristas, we get alot of customers asking us to suggest beverages they've never tried or even heard of. So @PatingkerBell and I decided to make a thread of Starbucks drinks that are off the menu," Brad tweeted.

He had something to recommend to chocolate lovers...:
"Two-two" for the chocolate lovers. Simply order iced classic chocolate and replace vanilla syrup with white chocolate mocha. This one tastes like your childhood favorite chocolate milk drink Chucky ???? pic.twitter.com/drX4mzek2K

...to those who still can't get over millennial pink:
You've probably heard this from a quirky friend. They call this the Pink Drink and it's obvious why. Order milk then add raspberry and vanilla syrup. Don’t forget the Caramel Drizzle pic.twitter.com/RmAosJQMXH

Reacting to the Twitter thread that has already garnered over 20,000 retweets and more than 43,000 likes as of this writing, this is what Starbucks Philippines had to say:
"We do offer a wide variety of beverages that customers can personalize. From time to time, we regularly recommend customizations we think our customers may enjoy. In addition to the beverage options included on our menu boards, there are numerous ways baristas can customize beverages at Starbucks, selecting from a variety of fresh dairy selections, combination of syrups, coffee/espresso options and toppings. The high level of personalization available allows customers to enjoy a unique Starbucks Experience and tailor their drink to match their own personal taste preferences."
By the way, Starbucks International on Twitter noticed and commended Brad for his innovations.
