The cast of ‘Ang Larawan’ sing OPM hits a la ‘Carpool Karaoke’
What's the best way to pass time when heavy traffic is beginning to get on your nerves? Singing along to great songs, of course!
In a clip inspired by "Carpool Karaoke" from "The Late Late Show with James Corden", the cast of critically acclaimed film "Ang Larawan" did just that and they belted out OPM hits as they headed out to visit a mall where the movie was being screened.
In the video, Sandino Martin picks up Rachel Alejandro who sets a cheery tone by singing her hit song "Mr. Kupido." Celeste Legaspi and Dulce join the pair and the quartet belt out "Ulan" by Aegis.
They also pay a tribute to Ryan Cayabyab by singing "Da Coconut Nut."
"Ang Larawan" was hailed Best Picture at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal. It also picked up the Best Actress (Joanna Ampil), Best Musical Score (Ryan Cayabyab), and Best Production Design (Gino Gonzales) awards. The film also won the Gat Puno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award.
"Ang Larawan" is now on its second week in theaters nationwide. — Aya Tantiangco/KG, GMA News
