Sal Panelo's SONA 2017 outfit revisited: It's a P60,000 Dior blazer

Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo's flower-patched tux from President Rodrigo Duterte's second State of the Nation Address turned quite a few heads, but it seems that a few details may have been lost in the flurry of spotting the best red carpet looks.

Unless it was just a knock-off — which we doubt because Panelo doesn't seem the type to wear knock-offs — the eye-catching blazer is apparently from the Dior Homme Spring 2017 collection and it comes with matching slacks.

Lizza Guerrero Nakpil — crediting art collector Robbie Santos for spotting it — noted that it's not just pretty, it also costs a pretty penny at $1,200 or P60,000.

Nakpil additionally shared that Panelo's kicks are Christian Louboutin men's pumps from the Spring/Summer 2016 collection and in his hand is a Mon Damier Graphite Vuitton for Men shoulder bag.

As with most things in the world, there's more than meets the eye here and the trivia on Panelo's outfit are certainly welcome. It's definitely not easy keeping up with the fine tastes of upper crusters.
