Boy studying outside McDo reunited with the woman who helped make his story viral

Over a year ago, a photo of a young Filipino boy studying outside McDonald's touched the world. 

The boy in the photo, Daniel Cabrera, made headlines worldwide because of his determination and desire to learn.

The viral photo opened opportunities for Daniel and he received financial support from different donors—enough to support him until high school. 

In the spirit of the season, Daniel was reunited with the woman who posted the photo, Joyce Torrefranca. 

Daniel is now in the third grade and is in the Top 10 of his class, the video also reveals. —Aya Tantiangco/KG, GMA News
