Step aside‘Carrot Man’, ‘Cabbage Man’ also captures netizens’ attention   

 

After Filipino netizens went crazy over the Carrot Man of Mountain Province, another farmer has started to capture the attention of the online world. 

 

On Tuesday, Amy Galuten Matchok-Pandoyos posted photos of her brother Neil Galuten Matchok and called him “Cabbage Man,” who is also from the Mountain Province. 

 

Her post has gained almost 500 shares and 800 likes as of Friday afternoon. 

 

The same photos were then posted by “Trending News and Viral” page on Thursday, which has been shared over 5,000 times as of posting time. 

 

Netizens were quick to comment about Neil’s good looks and even compared him to Carrot Man Jeyrick Sigmaton. But Amy said that she shared her brothers photos just for fun. 

 

“Carrot Man” broke the internet this month when Edwina Bandong posted a stolen photo of him on her Facebook account on February 10. Her photos have been shared and reposted a thousand times since then. Netizens even made a collage of photos. 

 

“Sana mabigyan sila ng opportunity para makilala sila dilang sa social media para mas matulungan nila ung family nila. This two guy sobrang nakakainspire sa kanilang kasipagan at sobrang matulungin sa kanilang pamilya. Sana someday maging sikat sila like alden and maine... keep it up guys godbless to both of you,” a Facebook user commented. 

 

Carrot Man will be featured on GMA-7's "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" on Sunday.
