Alden, Maine, Vice Ganda lead Twitter outpour of grief for Kuya Germs

The Filipino Twitter community on Friday had an outpouring of grief over the passing of iconic television host German Moreno.

Condolences and remembrances filtered through the social network after news of Kuya Germs' death spread.

Twitter released an interactive graph detailing the network activity about the news.

The social network highlighted tweets from Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, which had more than 14,000 and 11,000 retweets, respectively.

Also highlighted were the tweets from a pair of AlDub fan accounts, each of which drew more than a thousand retweets.

Television host Vice Ganda's tweet was also spotlighted after more than 1,000 retweets.

More than 160,000 tweets were recorded during the period from Thursday to Friday. —JST, GMA News
