INTERACTIVE MAPS: How Manila, Leyte were #BlessedByThePope

Well-wishers and pilgrims packed every event in the itinerary of Pope Francis' five-day visit in the Philippines from January 15 - 19. Using smart phones and cameras, the faithful recorded everything from long waits to brief encounters. Each event has been immortalized in pixels and shared in cyberspace.

 

We sourced some of the best photos and videos in social media and presented them in maps of Manila and of Leyte to help visualize how peope were #BlessedByThePope.
