WATCH: Homeless grandpa bodybuilder uses street as a gym

There's no excuse not to exercise—not even if you're a homeless grandfather.

At first glance, you'll never believe this 50-year-old bodybuilder based in Paris is homeless.

Meet Jacques Sayagh, who completes his workout routines on the cold streets of the city, UK's The Telegraph reported.

"I don't want to live in a small apartment. People do not understand why I sleep on the floor, but I never feel cold," he said in a YouTube video that has since gone viral.

Sayagh, instead of going to the gym, works out on the streets, with film director Julien Goudichaud documenting his routine.

The report said the bodybuilder "does push-ups on the pavement, pull-ups using belts suspended from lampposts, and bicep curls using bungee ropes attached to railings."

Even better, Sayagh manages to compete in bodybuilding contests even despite a diseased liver—which, he said, was from a history of alcohol abuse.

"Bodybuilders are futurists, they dare everything," said Sayagh.

Motivation

Sayagh's motivation? His grandchildren.

"I don't want them to think that their grandfather is an asshole. I want them to be proud of me, that's all I want," he said. — Joel Locsin/TJD, GMA News
