With "Ilustrado" wrapping up, Alden Richards took time out from his busy schedule to take over the official Facebook account of GMA News on Wednesday for #AskAway. The man who played Jose Rizal answered questions ranging from fun to serious.

AR: Wala naman. It's how you look at it. Ako kasi I enjoy being an artist.

 

Bernice Sibucao Hi Alden! What's your most challenging role yet?

AR: being jose rizal

 

Joanne Navarro-Pristin: I recently watched magpakailanman about kuya alden, and as I compare jose Rizal and the life of kuya alden I'm so amazed how they're both close to their mothers. My question is naging madali bang maging Dr. José Rizal because of your similarities with him?. And what's the difference between You and Dr. Jose Rizal in terms of being around families and friends?. #AskAway

AR: malaki yung similarities namin ni JP in terms of relationship with family pero siguro mas makulit lang talaga and mas playful kesa kay JP hahaha

 

Ei Jae Sync: Hi Alden! I'm so impressed with the way you handle yourself as an actor and it really pays off naman kasi nabibigyan mo ng hustisya lahat ng roles na maibigay sayo. Actually I'm a big fan of yours. And I must say, you're performance in Ilustrado is really really good! Ang tanong ko lang naman is: Are you ready to take a gay role in a teleserye/movie just like the role of Tom Rodriguez and Dennis Trillo in My Husband's Lover? AR: thank you being an actor I have to be open to different possibilities and opportunities kaya I'm very much open with this suggestion in terms of kung sino gusto kong makapartner I guess production na lang ang bahala dun kahit sino pwede 

 

Joanne Navarro-Pristin As I think of more questions to ask, I'm listening to ilustrado by gloc 9 lol. So it came to my mind, since I never learn about Dr. José Rizal. Kuya Alden, is there any more story about Jose Rizal that was not shown in ilustrado? #AskAway

AR: as much as possible we try to just showcase the highlights in the life of JP marami pang hindi napakita sa Ilustrado but since it will just air for 20 eps yung mga important turn of events lang ang pinakita namin pero in reality marami pang colorful events sa buhay ni rizal

AR: yung buhok ni JP pati yung mga damit and casts

AR: una ang pagiging mapagmahal sa magulang at pamilya pangalawa ang pagiging masipag at katalinuhan and pangatlo ang pagiging "a man of his word" ni Jose Rizal

AR: as an actor you to improve EVERYDAY hindi pwedeng contented ka na on what you have and have accomplished always study educate yourself with things that will make your armor stronger and always pray to the LORD that's the most important
