Who would have thought leaving items aboard a plane would turn out to be an adorable experience?

A beagle named Sherlock is charming passengers of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines by returning their items for them.

"Locating the owners can sometimes be a challenge, so special forces have been hired," KLM said on a YouTube post featuring Sherlock in action.

In the video, the cute beagle helps KLM's Lost & Found team at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol find items left on a plane and return them to the owners.

The "other" members of the team monitor social media and the crew checks the plane after every flight—then pass the items to Sherlock.

"When you see the reactions of the passengers, that really is amazing," Sherlock's trainer Dirk van Driel said.

But wait, there's more: Sherlock even poses with passengers for selfies and welcomes hugs from children.

"He drops by regularly, but I have to admit, I do spoil him a bit," said a KLM staffer.

However, as tech site Mashable pointed out, there might be a problem: "people purposely leaving their belongings on the flight to encounter this hardworking dog." — Joel Locsin/VC, GMA News
