PH Blockchain Week 2024 to hold events in Bataan, Manila

Philippine Blockchain Week 2024 is set to conduct conferences in Bataan and Manila to strengthen the country’s blockchain landscape.

Launched in 2022, PBWx is an annual gathering of industry leaders, policymakers, enthusiasts, developers, entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world.

It features a series of talks, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions that aim to explore the latest trends, technologies and innovations in the blockchain space.

PBWx aims to “bring revolutionary ideas that spark transformative conversations within local communities by facilitating world-class learning sessions with local and global industry experts.”

Titled "Global Blockchain Congress: The Philippines' Gateway to Blockchain Excellence," PBWx 2024 Bataan is scheduled on September 24 and 25 at the Bataan People's Center.

It is a by-invitation-only event, spearheaded by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in collaboration with the Blockchain Council of the Philippines (BCP) and the Provincial Government of Bataan, and is organized by Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW).

The conference will feature discussions on the current state of the Philippine blockchain industry, its adoption rate, use cases, challenges, and future plans to ensure sustainability.

Meanwhile, the PBWx 2024 Manila will conduct the Future Proof: Tech Summit 2024 at the Podium Hall in Mandaluyong City from October 10 to 11.

With the theme “quest to a shared digital destiny,” the event will bring together government officials, academia, industry leaders, and innovators to explore the future of digital transformation.
