Guanella Center Medical and Dental Clinic opening
Guanella Center, headed by the Servants of Charity, is a sprawling 6 hectare compound in the middle of a depressed area along Brgy. Pingkian, Pasong Tamo, at the heart of Quezon City. The Center specifically caters for persons with disabilities and less fortunate members residing in the greater Q.C. area.
After the high mass officiated by Fr. David Anburaj, SPC, program director of Guanella Center, at the community covered court, immediately followed the blessing of the medical and dental clinic. This was led by the incumbent president of the Quezon City Dental Center Institute, with incoming president Judith Yap and Dr. Vechsa G. Salazar, Ms. Selena F. Sta Maria, Lady Excelsior, Theta Lambda Phi Medical Sorority, and with father and son donors, Jan and Jv
Mata, successors of the late Dr. Agnes Vila-Mata, DMD whose dental equipment was donated for the benefit of the residents of Guanella. The ribbon cutting was led by Dr. Aurea Santos alongside Jan and Jv Mata.
Through this joint effort, the clinic aims to provide valuable health and dental care to the residents of Guanella, improving their quality of life through prayer and health - one brighter smile at a time.
