Bayanihan at Pakikipagkapwa-Tao: Empathy, Resilience, and Humanity in Philippine History 28-30 October 2021
The Philippine Historical Association (PHA) invites everyone to submit research papers for the 2021 Annual Conference with the theme Bayanihan at Pakikipagkapwa-Tao: Empathy, Resilience, and Humanity in Philippine History.
It is the objective of the 2021 Annual Conference of PHA to provide a venue to highlight the narratives of empathy, resilience, and humanity in Philippine history. Likewise, the conference is in solidarity with the National Quincentennial Celebrations’ theme Victory and Humanity.
Individual and panel proposals shall range from but not limited to the following sub-themes:
- History of Social Movements
- Public History
- Local History and Oral History
- Women’s History
- Political History
- Economic History
- Social History
- Cultural History and Religious History
- Institutional History
- Rural History
- Environmental History
- Indigenous Peoples History
To be considered for participation in the parallel sessions, submit an abstract of the paper with a maximum of 350 words written in either English or Filipino, typed single-spaced, with font type Times New Roman, and font size of 12 pts. Include a bio-note with recent photo. The deadline of submission is on 25 July 2021.
