GMA, Enchanted Kingdom sign deal for new attraction Agila: The EKsperience
Enchanted Kingdom has signed a partnership agreement with GMA Network for the launch of “Agila: The EKsperience,” the park's latest attraction which will feature a 6-D theater experience.
“Agila” is the first and largest flying theater in the country, giving an exciting bird's eye view of the Philippines' most beautiful tourist attractions.
Present during the signing are GMA Network's chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, GMA Network's executive vice president and CFO Felipe Yalong, Enchanted Kingdom, Inc. chairman and president Mario Mamon, and Enchanted Kingdom, Inc. COO Cynthia Mamon.
According to Gozon, “Year in and year out, ka-partner natin itong Enchanted Kingdom... Napakagandang lugar nito—they are now world-class. At ngayon, may bago silang attraction na nagpo-promote naman ng ating Philippine Eagle. Talagang world-class. Puwede itong ipagyabang ng Pilipinas.”
“We are very happy that GMA-7 has joined Enchanted Kingdom as a founding partner with our forthcoming project that is opening very soon—the 'Agila: The EKsperience.' We really felt that GMA-7 is the leader, and we have done a lot of partnerships in the past. It's a fitting time to be able to expand this partnership further by being with us in this new project of ours,” Enchanted Kingdom's Mario Mamon added.

The amusement park's new attraction has over 100 motion simulation seats and a giant screen that will showcase the beauty of the Philippines.
Aside from being a unique ride, “Agila” will also serve as a digital educational tour for students and tourists both international and domestic.
Mamon said, “There's nothing like it that has ever been done in the local amusement industry... It is a nice attraction not only for foreign tourists, but it will also be educational for our domestic tourists who have not had the chance to tour the Philippines physically.”
“Maybe it will give them a better grasp of how beautiful the country is and actually visit the places we are showcasing in the first version of our six-minute ride and film,” he added.
“Agila: The EKsperience” will be open to the public starting this December. —NB, GMA News
