QC kicks off 75th anniversary with mobile app, photo contest

It’s a city map, news portal, history and culture resource, events calendar, hotel finder, and foodie field guide all in one.

QC’s new mobile app, called QC4ME, will soon be available to iOS and Android phone users who wish to stay informed about places, services, programs and events related to the city’s year-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

 

A photo contest titled "Tesoros y Millajes" (Treasures & Milestones), The QC Future Perfect Photo Competition, will also be launched along with the mobile app.Anyone can join by submitting a photo on the contest website.

Apart from the contest, a virtual memory wall project will accept submissions of vintage photos and anecdotes from the city’s colorful past.
