DLSU provides graduating public high school students free entrance exams and scholarship opportunities



De La Salle University offers scholarship opportunities to graduating students of Philippine public high schools. The university announces that graduating students from Philippine public high schools may submit their admission requirements until September 26. Students from public high schools will be granted free college admission exams.

Students may submit their application and take the DLSU College Admission Test (DLSU CAT) at assigned regional resting centers around the Philippines. Entrance exams will be held on September 29 and October 6 at the DLSU Taft Campus. The regional testing centers will hold entrance exams from October to November.

DLSU will award fifty (50) full scholarships to DLSU CAT examinees from public schools under the Vaugirard Scholarship Program. The chosen scholars will receive full waiver on tuition, miscellaneous, and laboratory fees throughout their stay in the university. They will also receive a monthly stipend that covers accommodation, meals, allowances, and other expenses.

DLSU offers at least 11 other scholarship schemes to support the education of deserving students. These include the St. La Salle Financial Assistance Grant, Stars Scholars Program, Gokongwei Grants, T.A.F.T. 100 (Top Achievers in the Freshman Test), athletic scholarships, cultural arts tuition discounts, and student publications tuition discounts.
