Launched in 1999, the Star Scholars Program is the most comprehensive scholarship program in the country today. The benefits of the program include an integrated undergraduate and graduate scholarship, mentorship and training programs, a tablet or personal computer, and P10,500.00 monthly stipend inclusive of modest accommodation, meal subsidy, and allowances with no service obligation to the scholars.

The new list of Star Scholars will be announced after an interview with the screening panel, the next and final step of the selection process.

In addition to the Star Scholars Program, DLSU also launched the Frontrunners in Redefining Science and Technology (F.I.R.S.T.) Program which gives the first batch of students of DLSU Science and Technology Complex (DLSU-STC) a 30% discount on their tuition and fees throughout their stay in college. In addition, the top 100 enrollees in the DLSU-STC campus will automatically receive a Samsung android phone with P300 monthly load for one year. Press release and photo from De La Salle University
