"You deserve this and you've put in so much work. You really did something that's unimaginable for the country and, I couldn't be any more proud," mensahe ni Coach Julius sa kaniyang kasintahan na weightlifter.
Ayon pa kay Coach Julius, gusto muna nilang sulitin ni Hidilyn ang kanilang oras sa isa't isa at mag-"live in the moment" matapos ang pagkapanalo ng atleta sa Olympics.
"I thank God that I met you and you became my boyfriend and you became my coach. It's hard to handle an elite athlete and at the same time, your friend who is so stubborn. But it's worth it, everything is worth it, and we had the gold medal," maiyak-iyak na sabi ni Hidilyn kay Coach Julius.
I can lift, I can love."
"To me and my wife, she is just like a daughter to us. The day before the competition in Olympics, I cannot sleep. Morning before she competed, I sent her a message, 'You focus!' This Olympics is for our daughter, my home, my family," sabi ni Ahmad Janius Abdullah, Deputy President ng Malaysian Weightlifting Federation.
"It's like we won the lottery," dagdag ni Janius.
