Idineklara din ng lalawigan ng Bohol na persona non grata, o hindi katanggap-tanggap sa kanilang lalawigan ang drag artist na si Amadeus Fernando Pagente, na kilala rin din bilang si Pura Luka Vega.
Sa pangunguna ni Vice Governor Victor Balite, inaprubahan ng Bohol Provincial Council ang resolusyon na nagdeklara kay Pura na persona non grata nitong Martes.
"The portrayal of religious figures in a manner that is disrespectful or offensive to the religious sentiments of individuals and communities is not conducive to promoting harmony and mutual respect within our society," nakasaad sa resolusyon na inihain ni board member Tommy Abapo.
"The Province of Bohol values its diverse population and aims to uphold respect for all religious beliefs, traditions, and practices," ayon pa sa resolusyon.
Umani ng batikos ang ginawang pagtatanghal ni Pura Luka Vega nang magbihis siya na tila Nazareno habang tinutugtog ang rock remix ng “Ama Namin.”
Nauna nang idineklarang persona non grata sa iba pang lugar kabilang ng lungsod ng Maynila, lalawigan ng Laguna, Nueva Ecija, at Cagayan De Oro.
“As leaders of our province, it is our duty to uphold the values of respect and dignity towards our fellow individuals. We should not tolerate any attacks or disrespect towards our cultures and beliefs,” sabi ni Laguna board member Christian Niño Lajara. — FRJ, GMA Integrated News
