Kabilang ang ilang bangko at local airlines sa Pilipinas sa mga naapektuhan ang operasyon at serbisyo dahil sa naging aberya sa Microsoft.system na nakaperwisyo sa iba't ibang bahagi ng mundo nitong Biyernes.

Naglabas ng abiso ang BDO Unibank na nakaranas ng technical difficulties ang kanilang sistema dahil sa naging aberya sa Microsoft.

“This may result in extended wait times at our branches and contact center, and delays in or unavailability of some functions in our digital channels,” ayon sa BDO.

“Our team is diligently working with Microsoft to resolve this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” dagdag pa ng bangko.

Naglabas ng abiso ang Metrobank para sa kanilang mga kliyente na makararanas ng mabagal na serbisyo sa kanilang online channels dahil din sa “ongoing global outage related to Microsoft-based systems.”

Gayunman, gumagana pa rin naman ang kanilang ATMs at makakapagdeposito sa Cash Accept Machines.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and will immediately resume the affected services once the issue has been resolved,” ayon sa Metrobank.

May katulad na anunsyo rin ang UnionBank, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), RCBC, at Philippine National Bank (PNB).

“Rest assured that our team is working with our affected service provider to restore our full services as soon as possible,” ayon sa UnionBank.

Sabi naman ng BPI sa hiwalay na abiso, ''This issue has impacted certain operations in the bank, which may cause longer wait times in our branches and contact center. You may also experience delays in the crediting of financial transactions, including bill payments and interbank fund transfers, as other institutions are likewise affected.''

''Our technical team is already coordinating closely with the provider on the resolution of this issue.Rest assured that this issue should not be a cause for concern. Our branches, ATMs, CAMs, online and mobile banking services remain available.''

Sa abiso ng RCBC, inihayag niya na temporarily unavailable until further notice ang mga sumusunod:

    Fund transfers to other banks via Instapay, PesoNet, Swift and PDDTS
    Bills payment
    Cardless withdrawal
    Credit card services
    Online check deposit

“You may continue to do your banking transactions at any RCBC Branch or RCBC ATMs nationwide,” ayon pa sa RCBC.

Tiniyak naman ng PNB sa kanilang mga kliyente na agad nilang ibabalik ang mga apektadong serbisyo kapag naayos na ang aberya.

Sinabi naman ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas na, ''has required affected BSP-supervised financial institutions to provide updates and activate their resilience and continuity plans as needed.''

''The BSP Peso Real Time Gross Settlement System or PhilPassPlus was unaffected and all settlements, including PESONet, Instapay, ATM and checks, were successfully completed today,'' ayon sa BSP.

Aberya sa paliparan

Naghahanda naman ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines sa pagdami ng mga pasahero na maghihintay ng kanilang mga biyahe sa dalawang local airline na apektado ang global Microsoft outage.

Sa pahayag, sinabi ng CAAP na nagkaroon ng congestion sa Davao International Airport Passenger Terminal Building bunga ng aberya sa sistema sa Cebu Pacific, na maaaring magpaantala sa biyahe o pagkansela ng nasa dalawang flight.

Sinabi ng CAAP na ipinatupad nila ang "irregular operations protocols and closely coordinating with the airlines, PNP Aviation Security Group, and Office for Transportation Security."

"Additionally, personnel are adding more seating for passengers, personnel at the Malasakit Help desk and medical teams are on standby in the departure area," ayon pa sa CAAP.

Sa NAIA Terminal 3, nag-post si Chino Gaston ng GMA Integrated News sa X ng larawan na makikita ang maraming tao sa check-in counters sa harap ng global Microsoft outage.

 

 

Sa abiso, inihayag ng Cebu Pacific na nagkaroon ng pagbagal sa kanilang sistema dahil sa Microsoft outage.

“Cebu Pacific advises its passengers that it is currently experiencing technical issues, reportedly related to technology provider CrowdStrike, which caused a global Microsoft system outage,” saad ng airline.

Inihayag din ng AirAsia Philippines na naapektuhan din ng a global outage ng Microsoft ang kanilang operasyon, na kinumpirma ng kanilang partner na Navitaire.

“This outage is causing unexpected rebooting of machines, leading to some operational disruptions related to check-in processes and navigating the AirAsia MOVE app,” ayon kay AirAsia Philippines communications and public affairs head Steve Dailisan.

"AirAsia Philippines is closely monitoring the situation and is in constant communication with Navitaire and Microsoft. Our top priority is to minimize any impact on our guests and ensure that all systems are restored to full functionality as soon as possible," dagdag ni Dailisan.—FRJ, GMA Integrated News
