“We will certainly look at the fiscal consolidation plan that was handed over by the outgoing administration,” ani Diokno.
“To me the focus should really be on tax administration and we need a lot of money to number one, continue our growth momentum, and two, to service our higher level of public debt,” dagdag niya.
Samantala, si Alfredo Pascual naman ang napili ni Marcos para pangunahan ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Habang sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) naman si Manuel "Manny" Bonoan.
Si Pascual ang pinuno ng Management Association of the Philippines at dating presidente ng University of the Philippines.
"I have asked Fred Pascual to head the DTI and he has agreed," sabi ni Marcos sa press conference.
Tungkol kay Bonoan, sabi ng susunod na pangulo na, "I am intending to nominate Manny Bonoan for [the] Department of Public Works and Highways. I know him very well, I know he will do a good job..."
Gagawin namang Special Assistant to the President ni Marcos si dating Davao del Norte congressman Anton Lagdameo.
"We've known each other since he was a child, hindi na 'ko child noon. He was young, he knows me very well, he's been with us working for me for the past ten years," sabi pa ni Marcos. --FRJ, GMA News
