Mula sa Senado, sa Pasay City Jail na nakadetine ang mga opisyal ng kontrobersiyal na Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation na sina Linconn Ong at Mohit Dargani.

Inihatid ng mga opisyal ng Senate Sergeant-at-Arms sina Ong at Dargani sa Pasay City Jail dakong 1:50 p.m. nitong Lunes.

Sa ulat ni Jhomer Apresto sa Super Radyo dzBB, sinabing hindi naka-posas sina Dargani at Ong nang dumating sa Pasay City Jail.

Sa isang pahayag ni Senador Richard Gordon, pinuno ng Senate blue ribbon committee, ipinaliwanag niya na ang desisyon nila ay "to ensure that the institution of the Senate is respected, its honor preserved and its integrity maintained whole.”

“Mr. Dargani’s and Mr. Linconn’s continuous lying, continuous refusal to answer questions truthfully and forthrightly, and the constant 'palusot' have crossed the line,” giit ng senador.

“The Senate in preserving and protecting the institution has decided to transfer them to the Pasay City jail,” patuloy niya.

Idinagdag din ni Gordon na ang pananatili nina Dargani at Ong sa Senado ay dapat trabaho sa OSAA na ang pangunahing tungkulin ay pangasiwaan ang seguridad ng Senate building, gayundin ang mga taong nagpupunta rito, lalo na ang mga empleyado.

“The Senate and public interest demand the truth of the overpricing of supplies, and the favoritism granted a company (Pharmally), whose capitalization was only P625,000, contracts amounting to billions of pesos. If we do not go into the bottom of this scandal, we will not be able to hold accountable those responsible; and, the repetition of such a dastardly deed becomes a high probability still,” giit niya.

Nitong Linggo, pinirmahan ni Senate President Vicente Sotto III ang commitment order para ilipat sina Ong at Dargani sa Pasay City Jail.

Si ang Ong ang director ng is Pharmally, habang corporate secretary at treasurer si Dargani .

Iniutos ng Senate blue ribbon committee na ilipat sa city jail sina Dargani at Ong dahil sa hindi pa rin nila maibigay ang financial statements ng kompanya para malaman kung may overpricing sa pandemic supply kaugnay sa nakuha nilang bilyong-bilyong kontrata sa gobyerno.

Mananatili sila sa piitan hangga't hindi sila makikipagtulungan sa imbestigasyon ng Senado, ayon sa Senado.—FRJ, GMA News
