Nabawasan pero nananatiling mataas pa rin sa 75% ang satisfaction rating ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa buwan ng Mayo at Hunyo 2021, ayon sa anunsyo ng Social Weather Stations (SWS) nitong Huwebes.
Sa harap ng COVID-19, nakakuha si Duterte noong Nobyembre 2020 ng satisfaction rating na 84% (51% very satisfied at 33% somewhat satisfied).
Sa nasabing panahon, 9% ang undecided habang 6% ang dissatisfied (2% very dissatisfied at 4% somewhat dissatisfied).
Sa survey nitong Mayo at Hunyo, bumaba ito sa 75% (41% somewhat satisfied at 34% very satisfied).
Nakamit ni Duterte ang pinakamababang satisfaction rating noong June 2018 na 66% (32% very satisfied and 34% somewhat satisfied).
Ayon sa SWS, ang net satisfaction rating ni Duterte noong November 2020 ay +79. Habang +65 naman noong May0 2021 at +62 noong Hunyo 2021, na pawang pasok pa rin sa klasipikasyon ng SWS na "very good."
Sinabi ng SWS na "there is no single explanation" kung bakit mataas ang satisfaction ratings.
Gayunman, sinabi ng survey firm na maaaring dulot ito ng strong base support ni Duterte.
"One is his strong base support, which has stuck with him so far, regardless of economic and other developments, and best exemplified by Mindanao residents," anang pollster.—FRJ, GMA News
