Buhay na muli ang pag-asa ng mga mananaya sa lotto na maging milyonaryo matapos alisin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang suspension order nito sa naturang number games ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office. Pero ang iba pang palaro ng PCSO tulad ng Keno, tigil pa rin.
"Franchise holders and operators of lotto outlets may now resume with their operations. The lifting of the suspension of lotto operations takes effect immediately," pahayag ni presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo nitong Martes ng gabi.
Mananatili namang suspindi ang gaming operations na may prangkisa ng PCSO na Small-Town Lottery (STL), Keno, at Peryahan ng Bayan (PNB).
“It shall remain suspended pending the investigation of illegal activities and corrupt practices related thereto until the Office of the President evaluates the results of said probe,” saad ni Panelo.
Pinayagan umano ng pangulo na muling magbola ng lotto matapos na irekomenda ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
Wala umanong nakita iregularidad sa operasyon ng lotto at nasusunod ang mga regulasyon tungkol dito.

Matatandaan nitong Biyernes ng gabi inanunsyo ni Duterte na sinususpindi niya ang operasyon ng number games PCSO dahil umano sa talamak na katiwalian.
Wala namang binanggit na pangalan ang pangulo kung sino-sino ang mga taong sangkot sa sinasabi niyang katiwalian sa ahensiya.
Kasunod nito, umapela ang Philippine Online Lottery Agents Association Inc. (POLAI) kay Duterte na alisin ang suspension order upang muli na silang makapag-operate.—FRJ, GMA News
