Volleyball players from all ten member schools of the National Collegiate Athletic Association joined the 'GMA Masterclass: The Social Media Literacy Series' at the Centennial Auditorium of the Jose Rizal University last March 14.
In the workshop, the student-athletes are taught about social media etiquette and how they can use social media to tell their stories as athletes.
The series' 11th session was attended by players from the men's and women's division who will see action in the upcoming tournament which will commence on April 7.
GMA Network's Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso welcomed the participants, together with the speakers from GMA Integrated News Digital, and teams from GMA Regional TV and Synergy. Present also in the event were NCAA Season 99 Management Committee Chairman and JRU Athletic Director Paul Supan, Emilio Aguinaldo College ManComm Representative Dr. Lorenzo Lorenzo, and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde ManComm Representative Dax Castellano.
