San Beda University has tapped alumnus Joshua Noda as the temporary head coach for its women's volleyball team in the ongoing NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball tournament.
Noda called the shots during the Lady Red Spikers' clash with San Sebastian College-Recoletos on Saturday. Unfortunately, San Beda's woes continued to pile up as they fell to the Lady Stags in five sets, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 18-25, 15-13, to remain winless in 0-6.
Parang tulong na lang din sa school," Noda, who played for the school's men's team from 2011 to 2014, told GMA News Online.
It remains unclear, however, what the status of head coach Edgar Barroga is as even Noda was unaware of the situation.
Barroga is still listed as the head coach of the team last Saturday.
Will he accept the permanent job if San Beda offers it? Noda said he will assess it first.
